Dr. Jennifer Jabaley OD

Dr. Jennifer Jabaley, originally from New Jersey, moved to Georgia after graduation from optometry school in 1999. Jennifer joined a large, multi-specialty optometric practice in Cartersville. Early in her career, Jennifer participated widely in optometric politics in Georgia, serving as the secretary, vice president and president of Greater Atlanta Optometric Association between the years 2000 and 2003. In the spring of 2003, Dr. Jabaley was awarded the prestigious title of Young Optometrist of the Year for the State of Georgia.

After marrying Dr. Chris Jabaley, Jennifer moved to Blue Ridge but continued to practice part time in Cartersville. Dr. Jennifer Jabaley is board certified in primary eye care including treatment and management of ocular disease and post operative care. In 2013, Jennifer officially joined Jabaley Eye Care to practice with her husband.

In addition to practicing optometry, Jennifer has pursued her passion of writing. She had two Young Adult novels published with Penguin Young Readers. In the summer of 2010, Jennifer received the honor of being awarded Georgia Author of the Year in the Young Adult Division. She has spoken widely at writers' conferences and participates in many school author visits throughout the state.

Jennifer enjoys spending time with her two young children, volunteering in the schools, reading, writing, playing tennis and running.
